Responsible for Full Class Certification for the FSO/FPSOs operated by Modec do Brasil remain valid and recommendations/non conformities are being properly managed and solved via Action Plan, monitoring all the Flag and Class surveys for the MODEC fleet in Brazil (FPSOs and FSO operating in Campos and Santos Basin offshore Brazil) and providing technical support.
– Assure the compliance with Class certification of the fleet with continuous updates about the status of Class/Statutory of MODEC Fleet, and communication with Class Representatives regarding upcoming milestones and relevant survey dates, findings. Follow up with each FPSO’s responsible for action plans attending the recommendation from Authorities.
– Assure the compliance with Class certification of the fleet planning and performing pre-inspection for Navy/Flag/Class verifying compliance with the Rules and Statutory requirements applicable for FPSO operation in Class, and accordingly with SOLAS and Brazilian Navy Regulation. Prepare reports related to Brazilian Navy (Marine and Helideck) inspection for MODEC Fleet, findings, status, and action plans in course attending the periodical Inspection (Form A and B, Port State Control).
– Maintain in order the planning and control of Certification of Class and Statutory regulations preparing Integrated Class & Statutory Status reports in association with MODEC Fleet and monthly reports for Management and Control. Maintain the control and follow up of Indicators related to attendance of Regulatory items.
– Support new projects with preparative related to Class and Marine Compliance performing inspection of new FSO/FPSO project at shipyard as required, verifying compliance with requirement in attention to pre-Operations plans.
Bachelor Degree in Engineering: Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering
Post-graduation degree or specialization in Ocean Engineering, Marine Offshore Structures, others;
Desirable to have five (5) or more years of onshore and offshore Experience at Oil & Gas
Experience as Class Surveyor for Units in Operation and/or relevant experience with Classification of Offshore Units
