Ensuring that all maintenance-related procedures are carried out in a safe manner and in compliance with the regulations of the company and accordingly with good engineering practices;
Planning, executing and reporting the maintenance of mechanical equipment and tools, including but not limited to static, rotating and lifting equipment, located in process, marine, utility and accommodation areas, focusing on safety, compliance and efficiency;
Fault finding and rectification for mechanical equipment;
Carry out mechanical isolations, and work-site inspections;
Using the maintenance management system (SAP) to execute the maintenance plan and update maintenance history;
Ensure that adequate stocks of mechanic related equipment and materials are maintained;Ensuring compliant and efficient permit-to-work use;
Ensuring that vendors and contractors are managed safely and effectively;
Handling emergencies, as part of the emergency response team;
Performing any other work as specified by the Head of Department, including area responsibility and housekeeping.
5 years of experience as mechanical in oil and gas production platforms or petrochemical plants;
Mechanical technician from Senai, Cefet or other federal institution;
Fluent in portuguese and with good command of english;
Efficient in use of maintenance management systems, preferably SAP;
To have sufficient understanding of process safety and major accident hazard management to be able to effectively contribute and influence local decisions impacting process safety.
Takes strong ownership of tasks, overcomes obstacles and strives to make a positive impact;
Works in a structured way and with endurance to meet agreed objectives;
Has good interpersonal skills and is a good team player.
