Ensuring that all maintenance-related procedures are carried out in a safe manner and in compliance with the regulations of the company and accordingly with good engineering practices;
Plan, execute and report the maintenance of electrical equipment and tools, focusing on safety, compliance and efficiency;
Fault finding and rectification for electrical equipment;
Carry out electrical isolations, and work-site inspections;
Maintain Ex rating of electrical & instrument equipment as per design, including inspection and remedial works;
If applicable, leads electrical technicians in fulfilling the unit maintenance needs;
Uses the maintenance management system (SAP) to execute the maintenance plan andupdate maintenance history;
Ensure that adequate stocks of mechanic related equipment and materials are maintained;Ensures compliant and efficient permit-to-work use;
Ensures that vendors and contractors are managed safely and effectively;
Handles emergencies, as part of the emergency response team;
Perform any other work as specified by the Head of Department, including area responsibility and housekeeping.
5 years of experience as offshore electrical technician or equivalent;
Electrical technician certificate from a market-recognized technical school (Senai or Cefet or other federal institution) or electrical engineer degree;
Experience with automated electrical installations;
Good verbal and written portuguese language skills and good command of English;
To have sufficient understanding of process safety and major accident hazard management to be able to effectively contribute and influence local decisions impacting process safety.

Works in a structured way and with endurance to meet agreed objectives;
Has good interpersonal skills and is a good team player.
